Both really great questions! I have been wondering how to explain this to people so that it is clear that the love letters are all about believing in people and the battles they do every day big or small. I want to give people something to open every Monday that helps them hold their head up and say life is good even though I am going through this or that. Life is beautiful. And maybe even more importantly that you are NOT alone. You matter, you have important ideas and thoughts that matter.
I share my thoughts, things that have inspired me, ideas that I may want to try, and an inside look at some of the things I do in the studio. I share my heart because it helps me live the most real life that I can during these precious moments we have on this beautiful blue and green jewel we call home. I want to share because we all need something to hold onto that makes us feel like we make a difference. Even if we tend to lean towards the introvert side, we still need to know we matter and we are loved.
I may not know the people who read my love letters face to face and that is okay. I love people and I know we all face things in life where we could use someone in our corner saying, you have got this ! I believe in you! Don't give up!
So that's what these love letters are all about. Bringing people a piece of light on their Mondays. Everyone needs to feel loved and appreciated and that is my aim with these letters. Something to bring your heart a moment of yes that was just what I needed to hear!
And of course I share what has been happening for me in my art studio. Projects, paintings, ideas for the studio, I have a painting in the limelight every week, sometimes its a new one sometimes its an existing one that has a story that goes along with my musings for the week.
I also have special offerings that I only give to those who read the love letters. I appreciate so much the people who have gone to the shop here and indulged their hearts in a piece of artwork. It means so much to me and it helps me continue to do this work.
And last but not least as a thank you for letting me send these love letters to you every Monday I have a monthly draw for an original piece of my artwork. I have decided too that the original may be anything I feel like giving away that month. So this could mean a mini, a full size, or a piece that I paint just for the winner...who knows! I like those kind of surprises don't you?!
( The photo I used for this post I snapped while window shopping! It was part of a Bobbie Brown makeup display.)
